We are pleased to announce the opening of ROOOM x Qeren Creates, a virtual fine art exhibition.
The collaboration features physical, digital and animated artworks by South African Artist - Qeren Creates - displayed in a virtual reality Metaverse space by award winning German comprehensive 3D, AR, VR platform/company - ROOOM. The exhibition can be accessed via smartphone, laptop or VR goggles, giving a truly immersive experience.
The collaboration sprouted from introductions made by Thuringia International’s localrepresentative at the SA-German Chamber of Commerce and Wesgro, bringing ROOOM into
a partnership with Zion Collective, where Qeren is a co-owner. This project also marks the first
showcase between ROOOM and Zion Collective who hope to revolutionize the way art is exhibited, marketed and experienced across borders using ROOOM’s metaverse technology and Zion Collective’s design capabilities.
The artwork in this collaborative exhibition revolves around an effort towards externalizing the inner worlds of feeling and thought. Qeren’s art practice is rooted in employing a range of characters to denote different parts of the mind and how they interact with each other. Qeren's most well known character is Imaginary Friend, a protagonist who represents relentless hope and child-like ambition.
